Ray Hewitt, a shell-shocked Vietnam Vet returns home years after
the war looking to relax and catch up on some quality TV time.
Standing in his way are his determined niece and nephews who
won't back down when it comes to defending their after school
cartoons. Adding to Ray's frustration are the loud and obnoxious
neighbors (the Humphries family) and their pet rooster. When Ray's
two long lost sons from Vietnam arrive, Ray has had about all he
can handle. As Ray struggles to keep it together, the forces of
small town USA and old trauma threaten to push Ray over the edge
and jeopardize everyone around him. Yet the strain of Ray's visit
may be just what is needed for the families to realize the
